To treat this dry skin condition, thick lotions and creams must be applied liberally to the affected skin. The doctor may prescribe a medicated lotion or oral medications to treat the condition. Prevention of this itchy and unsightly skin condition includes avoiding fabrics, detergents (including soap), or dyes that may agitate the rash, and applying liberal lubrication into the affected skin.
Measles or Rubeola is a highly contagious disease that is characterized by a large, blotchy rash. This disease is spread through contact with infected surfaces or infected air droplets (sneezing, coughing, or speaking). The MMR vaccine or measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine offers the only protection or immunization from these diseases, which is why having children vaccinated is so important for preventing the spread of this disease
A Skin Blister is a small, raised lesion that is filled with fluid. Blisters on the skin are caused by various reasons such as, an allergic reaction (contact dermatitis), frostbite, second or third degree burns, an underlying illness (impetigo, incontinentia pigmenti syndrome and pemphigus vulgaris), a skin disorder, severe friction and trauma to the skin. Treatment of a skin blister is determined by a doctor based on the cause and severity of the condition.
